Study programmes

The graduate has mastered the basics of all mathematical disciplines (mathematical analysis, linear algebra, arithmetic, synthetic, analytic and differential geometry) connected with the teaching of mathematics at lower and upper secondary schools. The graduate knowledge includes some elements of pedagogical content knowledge. The graduate is able to solve problems using classical procedures as well as computer methods. He/she has the basic skills needed to communicate and work with people and to work individually with pupils. During pedagogical practice, he/she gained basic skills during in monitoring and evaluating the quality of teaching. The graduate may continue in subsequent master studies in a teacher training programme of mathematics for lower and upper secondary schools. Graduates employability is very good.
