The study program provides bachelor education preparing graduates especially for postgraduate studies in the study program of Teacher Education of Descriptive Geometry for Upper Secondary Schools. The study program is based on key geometric disciplines in relation to descriptive geometry at upper secondary schools, on their applications and history, on didactics of descriptive geometry and pedagogy. In some subjects, a didactic transformation of geometrical content is performed. With regard to school practice, different ways of introducing key concepts and the derivation of other properties are compared.

Graduate profile for the public:
The graduate has an extensive geometric knowledge and mastered both classical and modern ways of representing 3D objects including graphical software. The graduate has an overview of main geometry applications. His/her knowledge includes some elements of pedagogical content knowledge. The graduate is able to solve problems using classical procedures as well as computer methods. He/she has the basic skills needed to communicate and work with people and to work individually with pupils. During pedagogical practice, he/she gained basic skills during in monitoring and evaluating the quality of teaching. The graduate may continue in subsequent master studies in a teacher training program of descriptive geometry for upper secondary schools. Graduates employability is very good.
