The Bachelor's program of Chemistry for Teacher Education is the first step in education of the future high-school chemistry teachers. The program educates graduates in expertise in chemistry and fundamentals of pedagogy, psychology and didactics. Graduates are prepared for the consequent program Master's degree in Chemistry Teacher Education for Secondary Schools. The program is studied in combination with another science discipline (usually biology, mathematics or geology), but it is also possible to study a full curriculum focused only on chemistry education.

Graduate profile for the public:
The graduate acquires basic theoretical knowledge of chemistry and acquires the skills necessary for working in a chemical laboratory. Graduate acquire basic knowledge and practical skills in pedagogy, psychology and didactics of chemistry, which are necessary for the teaching of science subjects. It is theoretically and practically ready to further expand its potential for application in education, research, the popularization of science, lifelong learning and public administration.
