Study programmes

The study programme is designed to create a solid conceptual-theoretical and knowledge basis for further master's and specialisation studies in the field of educational sciences. Firstly, the programme provides an introduction to the philosophical and theoretical foundations of research in the field of human sciences; acquisition of professional terminology used in the sciences of education; a grounding in the current state of knowledge in selected basic, borderline and applied pedagogical disciplines; an understanding of interdisciplinary contexts and epistemological and methodological paradigms of individual pedagogical sciences. Secondly, our BA graduates who decide not to continue with a master's degree will be prepared for employment through a deeper understanding of current issues related to educational practice in educational and non-school institutions (having been trained in the creation and implementation of educational, social pedagogical, preventive and leisure projects; quality reflection on practice; internships, etc.).
