Kurz se v zaměřuje na podporu četby autentických děl dětské literatury a praktické otázky jejich možné využití v hodinách anglického jazyka. Dále se věnuje otázkám spojeným s kvalitami typickými pro díla anglicky psané dětské literatury a rovněž s jejich hlavními žánry a historií.

This course mainly intends to motivate the students to read books for children and young adults and even mrre importantly employing them in ESL classes. While trying to answer the question concerning the origins and qualities typical of literary works classified as English-written children’s literature, the course introduces history and individual genres of children’s literature written in English through a number of various activities, games and plays.
