The aim of the course:

The course pathological anatomy I includes general pathology and part of special (organ) pathology. The aim of general pathology is to acquaint students with the basic mechanisms of cell and tissue damage, with the basic aspects of the inflammatory reaction and with the general characteristics of cancer. The aim of special pathology is to acquaint students with etiopathogenesis, morphology, clinical manifestations and complications of the most important diseases of the cardiovascular system, respiratory system, hematological system, gastrointestinal system and urogenital system.

Požadavky ke zkoušce - angličtina

Conditions for granting pathology credit in summer term:

Credit examination takes place on the last two pathology practical classes, in the period from 20 to 27 May 2026.

The basic condition for granting the credit is participation in practical classes (one absence is accepted; each absence must be announced before the beginning of the class by e-mail to the teacher). More than one absence must be replaced in a way agreed with the assistant teacher. Another condition for awarding credit is passing all e-tests during practical classes. The e-test has 10 questions, the minimum for passing is 80% correct answers.

The oral part of credit consists of diagnostics of two microscopic slides and verifying knowledge of the relevant theory. A student who does not achieve 80% success in e-tests or has more than one absence will be given five microscopic slides for diagnostics and the relevant theory for the oral part of the credit.

For credit there are one regular and 2 additional terms. The credit is tested generally by the assistant professor of the group.
