The bachelor’s study programme in Logic is an interdisciplinary programme which covers classical and non-classical logic and formal reasoning with a focus on similarities to related fields. Students are provided with a grounding in the formal forms of reasoning in mathematics, linguistics, computer science and philosophy, in addition to a more general ability to analyse complex problems.

Graduate profile for the public:
Graduates have comprehensive knowledge of both classical and non-classical logic and their applications in related fields, especially mathematics, analytic philosophy, computer science and formal linguistics. In addition to academic skills and knowledge, graduates have the ability to analyse complex problems and systems of various types and are qualified for careers in programming, administration and development of IT systems or legislative and public administrative bodies. Graduates also receive an excellent background for further study in the master’s programme in logic as well as in mathematics, philosophy, linguistics or computer science.
