Archival science and auxiliary historical sciences is a discipline of historically oriented study focused on specialized work in the area of Czech history and practical application especially in the field of archiving. The specialized subjects of this study are auxiliary historical sciences, the history of administration of the Czech Lands and archival theory and practice. Graduates of the bachelor programme in archival science and auxiliary historical sciences aregrounded in modern archival theory, diplomatics, palaeography, the history of administration, and are equipped with basic technical and linguistic skills for handling archival materials, especially in modern and contemporary history.
