Requirements to the exam
Credit
100% attendance in practical classes is required. The student must complete the relevant chapter from the e-learning course in Moodle prior to each practical class. The e-learning course contains theoretical information and practical instructions. A test at the end of each chapter must also be completed before attending the clinical classes.
A minimum score of 80% is required for all assessed practical work.
Students must achieve at least 80% on all minor tests. If a minimum of 90% is achieved, the credit test is waived. If less than 80% is achieved, an oral examination will be used to assess the student's level of knowledge (for the second and third attempt). Absence during minor tests is evaluated as zero points.
Achieve at least 80 % of credit test. One re-take test with threshold 80% (2nd attempt), oral examination (3rd attempt).
Note: In order to fulfill the content of the practical classes, Frasaco teeth with preparations (26 – cast crown, 24 – composite onlay, 21 – long wrap veneer, 11 – provisional crown, 13 – PFM crown, 15 – ceramic crown) are required within the subject of Preclinical Dentistry. Entry to the phantom laboratory is possible in white work clothes / lab coat and indoor footwear. The student is obliged to follow the safety instructions, to use protective glasses when working with the micromotor. Eating and drinking are prohibited in the phantom laboratory.
Students are provided with a set of modeling instruments, Frasaco artificial jaws, and a complete set of Frasaco teeth for use during practical classes. Credit will be awarded only after the return of all borrowed instruments, Frasaco jaws, and teeth in their original condition.
Examination
The student is eligible to take the final exam after fulfilling all credit requirements.
In the case of repeating a study obligation, the student is required to complete the study obligation in its entirety.
