The Bachelor's degree program prepares special education specialists for the application of educational support measures aimed at pupils with physical, mental and social disadvantagesat second level of elementary school and at the secondary school as well as leisure based education at schools and educational facilities as assistant teacher.

Graduates of a bachelor's degree program Special Education gained professional special educational knowledge and skills to work in assistant positions at thesecond level of elementary school and at secondary school with pupils with various types of disadvantages. Graduate has necessary skills for professional communication and cooperation with parents of children and pupils as well as teachers from regular mainstream schools and professionals from school-counselling facilities. The graduate is qualified for practical application of support measures at pupils with special educational needs according to Act on Education (no. 561/2004 Col.) and Ministerial Decree no. 27/2016 Col. On education of pupils with special educational needs and gifted pupils as amended.
