The bachelor study program continues a graduated secondary education. It intertwines the fields of art and its theory with Art Pedagogy and Art Education´s Didactics, with basics of teaching propedeutics.
The bachelor program focuses on developing students’ reflective practice and visual communication. It focuses on developing visual literacy of the students, their acquiring knowledge of theory and history of art, the elementary knowledge of Art Education´s didactics and reflective art practice. The aim of the study program is to develop visual literacy in the students and to promote their ability to use visual art in the context of today´s visually biased culture, while reflecting expert knowledge of their art and cultural education, which represents a potential in further development of cultivation and democratization of the society.

Graduate profile for the public:
The graduates are personalities with specialized knowledge of theory and history of visual art, with focus on education. They are able of intertwining theoretical work with artistic practice and of developing art as a way of communicating and understanding. They are able to utilize visual art´s activities in concord with the other subject that they specialize in, as means of developing a creative personality and as a specific means of cultivating of the social space.
