The course is designed to improve students’ practical legal English skills in commercial law application. This aim
is achieved by (i) introducing the most important terminology of individual topics primarily through reading and
listening activities; (ii) practising spoken interaction and writing in legal English and (iii) actively discussing legal
cases. Participants are required to complete two written assignments. The written assignments will represent 25
percent of the final grade (10% for letter and 15% for moot court activity). 70% attendance is required (specified in
number of seminars per semester that must be attended).
