Kurs seznamuje posluchače s hlavními problémy a tendencemi politického vývoje nástupnických států bývalého Sovětského svazu po roce 1991. Předmětem zkoumání jsou sociální profil, ústavní a státní zřízení, politické instituce, ekonomika, ideologie, jakož i mezinárodní postavení a vnější vztahy jednotlivých postsovětských republik. Po úspěšném absolovování kursu by studenti měli být mocni základní orientace v reáliích tohoto makroareálu v souladu s koncepcí kurikula studovaného oboru. Smyslem písemných prací je pak dát studentům možnost prohloubit a dále rozvinout měkké dovednosti jako kritické myšlení, práce s informacemi, analytické a syntetické schopnosti jakož i osvojit si základy odborné komunikace a akademického psaní. |
