Standard rules: In accordance with the Dean’s Directive No. 10/2026, 80% attendance is required as a condition for the award of a credit. Students are not required to provide a reason for absences amounting to 20 % (i.e. 2 full teaching days). Any further absences exceeding 20 % must be excused and replaced. The course includes a final (credit) test, which the course coordinator has designated as essential; therefore, students may not be absent whilst the test is taking place. Failure to sit the test may result in the credit not being awarded, unless the absence is individually made up under different conditions for serious reasons, following agreement with the teaching assistant or the course coordinator’s representative. The test must be taken on the Moodle website (Final test) and students take it on their own mobile devices (mobile phone, tablet, laptop). A functioning Wi-Fi network is available for the test (a mobile data connection is not required). Students take the test on the final day of the relevant course, regardless of whether they have met the attendance requirements. If the 80% attendance requirement is not met, the credit will only be awarded in SIS once all conditions for its award have been fulfilled (i.e. the test has been passed successfully + full required attendance or excused absence). A score of 70% correct answers is required to pass the test. If a student scores between 50 % and 70 % on the test, they will be given an additional question in order to be awarded the credit. If the score is less than 50 %, the test must be retaken on a different date with a different study group. Erasmus students from other universities on a placement in the Czech Republic: All the standard rules apply, as set out above. Erasmus students from First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University on placement abroad: For organization you should reach the mobility program coordinator via email eva.kacinova@lf1.cuni.cz. Before the planned departure, you must have your learning agreement approved. For universities which are not on the Erasmus partner list you must submit the current syllabus for the relevant course at the host university for that academic year. The syllabus should cover the topics taught as part of the placement in the Czech Republic. If this is not the case, it will be assessed on a case-by-case basis whether the student will need to demonstrate their knowledge in some way (e.g. by preparing a short presentation on the topic). Upon completion of the rotation, it is sufficient to send electronic confirmation of its successful completion (e.g. a scan of the document). No type of final examination abroad replaces the exit test, which is a prerequisite for obtaining credit. The test can be taken externally online; for dates, see the ‘Files’ section on this page. We prefer students to add the test date to their timetable at the same time as their fellow students are undertaking their placements with us. Organization of pneumology classes
The subject B83607 Internal – pneumology for students of the 5th year of General Medicine
1. Schedule The schedule is available in SIS.
2. Lectures Lectures are in the form of annotated PowerPoint presentations available in MOODLE (Kurz: B83607 Internal Medicine – Pneumology (cuni.cz)
3. Practical classes Teaching at clinical workplaces takes place according to the schedule in the form of clinical seminars and practices in inpatient and outpatient departments, bronchoscopic rooms and trainers.

5. Organization of classes in individual workplaces

G1. Before the start of classes, students change into PPE in the medics' cloakroom. The cloakroom is located in the basement of pavilion G1. The locker room key is available at the secretary of the department in the first floorin the same building at 8:15 a.m..
