Semestrální kurs otevřený pro mezinárodní i české studenty v angličtině a ve francouzštině představí současné trendy urbánních studií se zvláštním zájmem o přínos mezioborového dialogu mezi architekty a historiky, antropology a hospodářskými historiky. Díky účasti hostujících profesorů z USA, Iránu, Tunisu, Bulharska a Španělska se budeme věnovat příkladům ze střední Evropy, ale i z civilizačního pohraničí (Středomoří) a z Přední Asie (Irán). Kurs je součástí bilingvního magisterského programu TEMA. Přednášky a čítanka ke kursu vyžadují aktivní znalost angličtiny a alespoň pasivní znalost francouzštiny. This course will present current trends in urban studies with particular focus on assets of interdisciplinary dialogue among architects, social historians, anthropologists, and economic historians. The course was designed for TEMA Erasmus Mundus master programme and benefits from the TEMA visiting scholar scheme, which brings to our department professors from all over the world. With visiting professors from USA, Iran, Tunisia, Bulgaria and Spain we will explore cases in Central Europe, but also in the civilization border region (Mediterranean) and in Western Asia (Iran). The course is part of bilingual Erasmus Mundus masters programme TEMA. The lectures and the reader to the course require advanced knowledge of English and at least basic knowledge of French. Aktivní znalost anglického jazyka a alespoň pasivní znalost francouzského jazyka jsou nezbytné.
Requirements: Knowledge of English on advanced level, knowledge of French at least on basic (able to follow a lecture), follow the e-learning support on moodle.
