Kurz navazuje na prakticky zaměřený kurz Cvičení z korpusové lingvistiky v bakalářském studiu. Je zaměřený teoretičtěji. Studenti se seznamují nejen s praktickým využitím korpusů, ale také s pozadím jejich užívání, metodologickými otázkami apod. Na konci kurzu jsou schopni využívat korpusy němčiny (DeReKo) a češtiny (ČNK vč. InterCorpu) vč. přidružených aplikací (Kookkurrenzanalyse, CCDB, SOM, CNS, SyD, Morfio, Treq, KWords ad.) ve svém každodenním životě i při psaní vědecky orientovaných prací, jsou seznámeni s pozadím a hlubší problematikou korpusové lingvistiky a dokážou tak vhodně patřičná data získat, jakož i vyhodnotit.
Od LS 2022-2023 je kurz realizován jako mezinárodní a zajišťují ho akademici z univerzit Nancy, Miláno, Kodaň, Varšava a Praha. Na kurzu se účastní také studenti těchto univerzit.

The course is a continuation of the practically oriented course Exercise in Corpus Linguistics in the Bachelor's degree. It is more theoretically oriented. Students are introduced not only to the practical use of corpora, but also to the background of their use, methodological issues, etc. At the end of the course they are able to use corpora of German (DeReKo) and Czech (CNK incl. InterCorp) including associated applications (Kookkurrenzanalyse, CCDB, SOM, CNS, SyD, Morfio, Treq, KWords, etc. ) in their everyday life and in writing scientifically oriented papers, they are familiar with the background and deeper issues of corpus linguistics and are thus able to acquire and evaluate the relevant data appropriately.
The course has been implemented as an international course from the academic years 2022-2023 and is delivered by academics from the universities of Nancy, Milan, Copenhagen, Warsaw and Prague. Students from these universities also participate in the course.

Další témata jsou vždy rozdělena na část výkladovou (online, 45´) a na část nácvikovou (prezenčně v místě studia).
