Annotation -
The field of drugs, especially the synthetic ones, is rapidly evolving, which is supported by the development of computational chemistry, robotic syntheses and high-throughput screening. The course entitled Current Trends in the Development of Chemical Drugs is an optional subject intended for sttudents of the 3rd and 4th grade, in case of interest also for postgraduate students. The subject acquaints students with new rapidly developing pharmacodynamic groups, posssibly with tools for discovery of new chemical entities such as computer-aided drug design.
