As part of the course, students will become familiar with the issues of plaque-related diseases within oral cavity and their consequences; diseases of the oral mucosa, salivary glands, and jaw joint; orofacial traumatology and oncology; consultative dental examination; drug-induced conditions in the oral cavity; and swelling and pain in the orofacial region. Differential diagnosis of the most common diseases in the orofacial area will also be covered.
