The master´s programme of study Orthodox Theology, which is a continuation of the bachelor´s programme of study, is focused on formation of future clergy of the Orthodox Church. It is based primarily on theological disciplines and secondarily on humanities. The creative activities include mainly research focused on a broad field of Orthodox Theology-related issues.

The graduate of the master´s programme of study Orthodox Theology, which is a continuation of the bachelor´s programme of study, has achieved knowledge in the field of the Orthodox pastoral theology and homiletics, canon law, Orthodox spirituality, moral theology, Byzantine theology and philosophy. The graduate has developed knowledge and skills in the field of the Orthodox dogmatic theology and liturgy, church history and biblical studies. The graduate is qualified to work as a priest of the Orthodox Church.
The graduate of the programme of study gains comprehensive knowledge and skills, both theoretical and practical, to perform a specific theological vocation. The graduate is able to perform church rites and other activities at all levels of the theological vocation in the Orthodox Church. The graduate can translate source language texts. The graduate can also work in state, private and non-profit religious organizations. The graduate can also work as a member of academic staff or institutions focused on research in theology and related scientific disciplines.
