The follow-up Master’s study programme in Archive Studies and Auxiliary Historical Sciences trains graduates for management positions and specialized qualified work in all types of archives, particularly in state archives and archives of special importance, and for scientific work in history-related institutions (mainly in higher education institutions and the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, v.v.i.), as well as institutions oriented towards social sciences, science and culture, especially in settings related to history and auxiliary historical sciences.

The follow-up Master’s degree programme in archival science and auxiliary historical sciences, which follows the Bachelor’s programme in Archival Science and Auxiliary Historical Sciences or other Bachelor’s programmes studied under the sciences of history, is a historically oriented programme focused on specialized work and practical application in archiving and scientific work in the field of auxiliary historical sciences, or alternatively, history and other historical disciplines. The specialized subjects of this study are auxiliary historical sciences against the background of the history of administration and archival theory and practice.
