SP characteristics

The aim of the follow-up Master’s study programme in Theatre Studies is to provide graduates with a solid grounding in the theory and history of theatre, skills in contextual thinking in arts studies and a profound knowledge of the research areas of their choice. Another significant aim of the study is to offer students opportunities for independent acquisition of selected methods of modern research in theatre studies (and their practical use in multiple contexts), enabling graduates to independently develop their skills. Given the minority nature of the programme and the multitude of the students’ individual research interests, the study offers ample opportunity for students to independently pursue the specialization of their choice (the close contact between students and teachers and thesis supervisors trains future graduates for team research work).
