The Bachelor's program Hussite Theology aims primarily at qualifying the graduate for the occupation of a deacon, preacher or pastoral assistant. It provides fundamental knowledge of the history and structure of the theology of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church (CHC), improves skills of analysis and interpretation. The study program satisfies the demand for church workers educated in the field of Hussite theology and workers informed in the issues of religion and theology and their role in society. The program enriches traditional theological education with additional disciplines in the field of humanities. The graduates can be employed primarily as deacons, preachers and pastoral assistants of the church. They can also work in state, private or non-profit organizations focused on religion.

Graduate profile for the public:
The graduate of the Bachelor's program Hussite Theology has acquired fundamental knowledge in the field of theology of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church (CHC), i. e. systematic theology, biblical theology, practical (pastoral) theology and church history. He or she is well informed in the specifics of the history and structure of the theology of the CHC and understands the fundaments of the theology of other Christian denominations. He or she is practically trained for the occupation of a deacon, preacher or pastoral assistant of the CHC and gains all necessary knowledge for his professional performance. The graduate of the program gains both practical and theoretical skills of the specific theological occupation. The graduate can be employed primarily as a deacon, preacher or pastoral assistant of the CHC. He or she can also work in state, private or non-profit organizations focused on religion. He or she is fully qualified to pursue his or her studies in the continuing Master's program Hussite Theology.
