The Bachelor's program Philosophy in Jewish and Christian Contexts aims to provide the students with fundamental knowledge in the field of history of philosophical thought, the main issues of systematic philosophy and to develop their skills of analysis and interpretation. The study program prepares students for continuing study in various philosophy-related Master's programs. The graduates can find employment in cultural institutions, media, state administration and other positions, where understanding and interpretation of texts, critical thought, language stylistic skills, systematic approach, creativity, the ability to learn new things quickly and flexible decision-making are required.

Graduate profile for the public:
The graduate of the Bachelor's program Philosophy in Jewish and Christian Contexts has acquired fundamental knowledge of the history of European philosophy since Antiquity up to the 20th century. He or she can explicate the thought of major philosophers and fundamental problems of systematic philosophy. He or she has a passive knowledge of one original language (Greek or Latin). He or she is informed in the academic discourse in the field of his or her Bachelor thesis (in maior study plan).
The graduate of the program can analyse philosophical texts, explain philosophical concepts and appropriately formulate his or her thought. He or she can search relevant sources of information concerning a particular issue and independently formulate an academic text with the use of primary and secondary literature.
The graduate of the program can find employment in philosophy-related fields.
The graduate is qualified to pursue his or her studies in the continuing Master's program Philosophy in Jewish and Christian Contexts.
