Poslední úprava: Mgr. Jana Wohlmuth Markupová, Ph.D. (19.06.2012)
This course introduces students to the broad issue of the Czech (and Czechoslovak) emigration, reemigration and
exile in the 20th century, with a special emphasis on the historical perspective. It focuses on analysing not only the
political aspects of exile movements (particularly in the periods of 1914-1918, 1938-1945, 1948-1989), but also of
the state administration attitude towards this issue. Special attention is given to issues of the "micro-history" of
emigrants.
