Anotace

The Seminar I provides introduction into the university environment and into the world of science. It covers practical
topics, such as, literature and databases access and search, research communication essentials, or scientific
method basics. Second, it opens general topics of contemporary science and its role in the society (see Syllabus
for the list). There will be various hosts attending seminars, discussing particular topics with students.
