In this online course Human Rights and Medicine, the arguments that relate to rights, the history of human rights, some human rights (and medicine) cases, and Human rights and medicine documents will be discussed.

–Origins of human rights, fundamental sources
–The main issues of human rights, fundamental concepts
–The development of human rights theory
–Basic human rights documents
–Relevant human rights issues and their solutions

Minimal requirements, prerequisites, and conditions for selection and enrolment of students: Students can use the internet for MS Teams video meetings and have English as a spoken language - minimum level: B1 - "Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. Can deal with most situations likely to arise while travelling in an area where the language is spoken. Can produce simple connected text on familiar topics or of personal interest. Can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans."
