Kurz je primárně určen pro zájemce o obor anesteziologie a intenzívní medicína. Má ukázat těm, kteří uvažují o tom, že by se chtěli stát anesteziology, jak vypadá naše práce. Konání kurzu v dopoledních hodinách Po-Čt, lze i flexibilně nebo koncentrovat do několika týdnů. Začátek vždy od 7:10 na hlášení kliniky (pavilon H, 3.patro). Budete přidělení k lékaři a absolvujete s ním operační program. Minimální účast je 7x.

The course is primarily intended for those interested in the field of anesthesiology and intensive care medicine. It aims to show those who are considering becoming anesthesiologists what our work is like. The course takes place in the mornings from Monday to Thursday and can be flexible or concentrated into a few weeks. It always starts at 7:10 a.m. at the clinic reception (pavilion H, 3rd floor). You will be assigned to a doctor and will complete the surgical program with them. The minimum attendance is 7 times.

Kurz je primárně určen pro zájemce o obor anesteziologie a intenzívní medicína. Má ukázat těm, kteří uvažují o tom, že by se chtěli stát anesteziology, jak vypadá naše práce. Kurz je zaměřen velmi prakticky, teorie je minimum a většina výuky se odehrává na sále: každý absolvent se naučí zavádět periferní žilní kanylu, ventilovat obličejovou maskou, zavádět laryngeální masku, vyzkouší si intubaci a uvidí techniky regionální anestezie. Po dohodě je možná též stáž na resuscitačních lůžkách, v ambulanci pro léčbu bolesti a dle kapacity i na záchranné službě. Na závěr kurzu bude úkolem studenta prodiskutovat kazuistiku a stanovit pro pacienta anesteziologický plán.

The course is for students who are considering anaesthesia/intensive care as their future career. The course is practically oriented, theory is kept to a minimum. Most of the teaching takes place in the operation rooms: every attendee will learn how to insert peripheral venous cannula, how to perform ventilation with a facemask, and how to put in a laryngeal mask. Students will try endotracheal intubation, and observe regional anesthesia techniques. Visits on ICU, pain clinic and emergency ambulance can be arranged on an individual basis. At the end of the course we will challenge the students with a case report. Attendees will need to prepare anaesthesia plan and discuss it with instructors.
