Anotace

Cíl předmětu

The aim of the course is to facilitate the adaptation and integration of foreign students in the environment of the Czech Faculty of Medicine. This should also be achieved through attractive, socializing and cognitive activities and the involvement of older students. The course should help students to orientate before the start of the academic year in the study regulations,understand requirements and content of the 1st year study subjects and the structure and customs of the faculty, but also to enable interaction with teachers and classmates.

One of the prerequisites of the adaptation course is a significant reduction in the number of students who fail to successfully complete the first year of the faculty. Overall, the course is intended to prevent pathological phenomena.

The aim of the optional subject is to facilitate the adaptation of foreign students to the environment of the Czech medical faculty, as well as to life in the Czech Republic, to which the intensive teaching of the Czech language and familiarization with the culture and history of the Czech Republic should contribute. The course is intended to help students orientate themselves in the faculty's customs, study regulations, the content of the 1st year study subjects, but also to enable interaction with teachers and classmates. One of the aim is also a significant reduction in the number of students who cannot successfully complete the first year of the faculty. Overall, the course is supposed to prevent pathological phenomena.
