This course requires good base knowledge of European history and may help you in preparations for the comprehensive exam in European history you have to pass during your pre-gradual studies here at this faculty.

* Requirements to pass the course - to dutifully attend lectures - to deliver an essay. You should select one of our topics and one of two or three respective source texts. Please keep your essays within 5-6 standard pages. You should write in analytic and interpretative manner and try to discover and present the main thesis and structure of argument of the source text. You should respect one of academic style guides for your text, such as Chicago Manual of Style, MLA Handbook etc. - Morillo-Black-Lococo text should be used for general introduction, whenever needed. - feel free to contact me for consultations. |
