Anotace -
The course will provide a step-by-step introduction to fundamentals of quantitative research methodology and data analysis. It will introduce you to statistical thinking, interpreting and reporting results from statistical analyses, and will provide hands-on learning activities using a free easy-to-use statistics software (JASP). The course will be especially beneficial to students who are interested in psychology and sociology.

Vstupní požadavky -

The course will be easier for students from 2nd year of study, and for those, who already completed the Proseminar.

It is recommended to complete the course YBA276 Introduction to Research Methods in Social Sciences before subscribing to this one, but it is not required.

Each student must be able to work on a notebook with installed up-to-date version of JASP software. Free download is available here: https://jasp-stats.org/download/
