Anotace - angličtina
The seminar 'Resurrection' focuses on the resurrection of Jesus in the New Testament, analysing key texts and themes throughout the semester. Participants will engage with biblical texts, including the accounts in the Gospels and the Pauline epistles, in order to develop their exegetical skills and understanding of the significance of the resurrection for the Christian faith. Special sessions will feature international scholars, Professor Stefan Alkier and Professor Jörg Frey, who will provide additional expert insights. Discussions will revolve around the historical and theological implications of the resurrection for the early followers of Jesus, guiding students through the foundational beliefs and interpretations that shaped early Christianity.

The seminar is eligible for Erasmus students (basic knowledge of NT Greek is welcome, but not required) and can be recognized as a New Testament seminar for students of the Protestant Theology programme at MA level.
