Anotace

The course develops a knowledge of biblical Hebrew by reading selected texts in different genres (narrative,
poetical) and also by carrying out specific assigned tasks. The aim is to acquire a basic knowledge of vocabulary
and syntax and an understanding of the text that is read. The course also includes an introduction to work with the
critical apparatus of editions of the Hebrew Bible and to the notes made by the Masoretes.
