Obsahem předmětu je (1) seznámit studenty názornou formou s průběhem konference, (2) naučit je
přípravě referátů a posterů, (3) seznámit je s diskuzí při konferenci, (4) připravit je na psaní článků (a na odpovědi
oponentům), (5) připravit je na psaní posudků a (6) hlavně prezentovat své první vědecké výsledky.
Předmět je určen přednostně studentům doktorského studia.

The subject is: (1) to familiarize students with the course of the conference, (2) to teach them the preparation of oral
contributions and posters, (3) to prepare them to the discussion during the conference, (4) to prepare them for
writing articles (and answers to the opponents), and (5) finally, to present their first scientific results.
The course is primarily designed for doctoral students.

Podmínky zakončení předmětu -
Podmínkou udělení zápočtu je aktivní vystoupení na konferenci (referát nebo poster), což je povinné pro všechny studenty. U studentů 1.-3. ročníku je součástí zápočtu i příprava a přijetí článku do sborníku conference (napsání článku je povinné pro studenty 1.-3. ročníku, u ostatních se řeší individuálně podle výsledků studia).

The requirement for obtaining the credit is active participation in the conference (either an oral presentation or a poster), which is mandatory for all students. For students in the 1st–3rd years, the credit also includes the preparation and acceptance of a paper for the conference proceedings (writing the paper is mandatory for 1st–3rd year students; for others, it is arranged individually depending on their study results).
