Kurz Ethics of AI 2.0 proto nabízí úvod do
etických otázek spojených s jejím vývojem i využitím.
kritickou debatu. Více na www.aivk.cz.

With the growing importance of artificial intelligence, this field no longer
represents solely a domain of computer science; rather, it transcends the
boundaries of individual disciplines and has become a broader societal
issue. The course Ethics of AI 2.0 therefore provides an introduction to the
ethical questions associated with both the development and the use of
artificial intelligence. The course consists of two parts: independent
online study through the course Ethics of AI and two in-person sessions
focused on reflection on ethics within the students’ own disciplines.

Podmínky zakončení předmětu -
Pro úspěšné ukončení předmětu je zapotřebí:
1.) Úspěšně absolvovat online kurz “Ethics of AI” v angličtině na: https://ethics-of-ai.mooc.fi
Hodnocení online kurzu „Ethics of AI“:
Cvičení s možností výběru z více možností jsou kontrolovány automaticky a cvičení s písemnými odpověďmi kontrolují ostatní studenti (vzájemné hodnocení) a v některých případech i instruktoři. Absolvování kurzu vyžaduje úspěšné vyhotovení minimálně 90 % cvičení a minimálně 80 % správnost.

3. Actively participate in two in-person sessions with a total workload of 10 hours.
Assessment of the Online Course
Assessment is based on exercises, including multiple-choice quizzes and questions requiring written responses. Multiple-choice exercises are assessed automatically, while written-response exercises are assessed by other students (peer review) and, in some cases, also by instructors.
Successful completion of the course requires the completion of at least 90% of the exercises with a minimum success rate of 80%.
The course is assessed on a pass/fail basis (without numerical grading).
If the duration of the examination period is relevant for your studies, deadlines follow the academic calendar of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University.
Students are recommended to complete the online course at least 14 days before the date by which they wish to receive course credit (among other reasons, peer-review assessment may require additional time). The course may only be completed once within a single faculty; credits cannot be awarded repeatedly for the same course.
Assessment of the in-person component is based on the student’s active participation. A minimum attendance rate of 90% is required, together with continuous preparation through reading academic articles for seminars, active participation in discussions, and presentation before an audience.
