The aim of this cycle of lectures given in English is to provide an actual and complex overview about possibilities and limitations, advantages and disadvantages, and present and future outlook of modern trends in electroanalysis. Some of the lectures will be given by invited experts from collaborative universities and academic institutes. The course is taught in English.

Výsledky učení - angličtina
After completing the course, the student will be able to: Give examples on traditional and non-traditional working electrodes, including mercury, amalgam, carbon paste, boron doped diamond film electrodes, composite electrodes, screen printed and chemically modified electrodes. Explain the principle of using miniaturized and nanostructured materials to improve electrochemical responses and highlight their importance in modern electroanalysis. Elucidate the mechanisms of oxidation and reduction reactions in electrochemical processes. Describe electrochemical detection in liquid flow analytical techniques and compare it with other detection modes.
