Anotace - angličtina
The aim of this cycle of lectures given in English is to provide an actual and complex overview about possibilities and limitations, advantages and disadvantages, and present and future outlook of modern trends in electroanalysis. Some of the lectures will be given by invited experts from collaborative universities and academic institutes. The course is taught in English.

Electrochemical detection in liquid flow techniques

The presented topics will deal with:
(i) Traditional and non-traditional working electrodes (mercury electrodes, amalgam electrodes, carbon paste electrodes, boron-doped diamond film electrodes, composite electrodes, screen-printed electrodes, chemically modified electrodes, etc.),
(ii) Miniaturized and nanostructured materials for improvement of electrochemical response,
(iii) elucidation of mechanisms of oxidation/reduction reactions
(iv) electrochemical detection in liquid flow analytical techniques,
(v) non-traditional approaches in electroanalysis,
(vi) electrochemical DNA biosensors, the hottest news in the field of electrochemical sensing, etc.
