COURSE REQUIREMENTS (modified due to COVID-19 measures):
Students have to prepare a country profile of one country of the region as a commentary (plus short classroom/online presentation). The presentation should include basic facts about the country and then have a focus on the economy: economic development, major industries, major foreign trade partners, foreign direct investment. The format of the presentation is up to the student, but should be guided by the idea of an “investment story”: Why should a firm do business in this country? Why should the country be your next investment destination? What are the main problems that can derail the country’s economic growth? (Explain them and their possible negative effects).
Students have to think a BUSINESS IDEA in Central and Eastern Europe and prepare a Business Plan (Customer Analysis, Competitor Analysis, Market Analysis, Environmental Analysis, Self Analysis, Strategy Development). Grading Scale |
