Regular and active participation in the seminar, presentation of the dissertation topic, and, if applicable, completion of other study assignments according to the instructions of the seminar director are prerequisites for course completion. In the case of a long-term stay abroad, which meets the conditions for recognition as a study obligation "Study Abroad" (see the Rules for the Organization of Doctoral Studies at the Institute of International Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University), it is possible to excuse the absence after prior agreement with the seminar leader, provided that the student fulfills the alternative obligations (written comments on the submitted expositions) and presents the topic of the dissertation. |
