This is the first of two introductory-level courses, during which students will learn how to read, write and to pronounce Russian words correctly.

Students will
* get acquainted with all 10 parts of speech
* will learn to conjugate verbs
* to use all the tenses of verbs of the imperfective aspect
* to distinguish the gender of nouns
* and to use the adjectives.

They will master the Nominative and the Accusative case of nouns, pronouns and adjectives and Prepositional case of the nouns.

To the end of this level they should be able to tell about themselves, their families and friends, talk about weather and clothing.

Metody výuky

Standardní prezenční výuka,  třikrát týdně (Pondělí, Středa, Pátek)

Standard full-time teaching, offline, 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday), not just 1 day per week

Classes are conducted in English and Russian (Czech can be involved, too, if there is at least one Czech speaking student in the group, so we can briefly draw linguistic parallels).

All the students are actively engaged and involved into every lesson and they use Russian from the very first lesson.

Students work altogether, in pairs, in groups of three and individually.

Each lesson and homework contains plenty of grammar and vocabulary exercises both written and oral.

Students translate short sentences into Russian, write short texts. Quizzes, language games, videos are incorporated, too.
