In a world filled with complexities ranging from war and economic downturns to personal struggles with depression and meaning, the pursuit of happiness and wellbeing becomes a crucial yet elusive goal. This multifaceted course embarks on a transformative journey into the heart of happiness, meaning, and psychological wellbeing. Merging the timeless inquiries of philosophy with contemporary scientific methodologies, we aim to explore happiness both in ideal circumstances and when faced with life's challenging realities.

Are some individuals naturally happier, or is happiness a skill that can be developed regardless of our external circumstances? Additionally, how do happiness and meaning intersect to contribute to a life truly worth living?

This course will furnish you with a comprehensive understanding of both traditional and emerging theories. You will learn how to critically assess primary scientific articles, conduct meaningful research, and apply these academic insights to your personal and communal life.
