The aim of the course is to help students to write their thesis proposal. Also, the students will gain knowledge about academic writing and several types of software which they may find useful when writing their bachelor thesis.

The plan is to run the seminars in hybrid form. You can choose to attend in person or connect online via Zoom. Please bear in mind that during the online broadcasting it might be difficult for the lecturers to interact with students connected online.

SIS

It is important to register for the course in SIS where you can download the lecture slides, upload the draft of your thesis proposal and receive feedback on it.

 

Requirements

· Upload a draft of your thesis proposal (in the Word template form, without supervisor’s and your signature) on the course website in SIS - under the tab "Studijni mezivysledky/Study group roster", an icon with four blue figures (by June 19). The purpose of uploading this document is to give you an opportunity to get feedback from the course supervisor and the Department of Foreign Languages.

· Register your topic in SIS (ask your supervisor to enter your topic in the system and assign you to the topic), then fill in the final version of your thesis proposal (by September 4).
