Anotace

In the course, the students will be introduced to basics as well as more advanced topics in bayesian data analysis. The course will closely follow Bayesian Data Analysis by A. Gelman.

As a prerequisite, the students should be familiar with basic concepts of Statistics and Mathetmatical Analysis. Course will look into several empirical topics and basic familiarity with R or Python is expected, too.

Požadavky ke zkoušce

Students will be expected to submit 4 exercise sets during the semester. The second requirement is a written final test at the end of the semester.

Proportionally, the exercise sets will account for 50% and the test for another 50% of the grade.

The grades will follow standard grading scheme based on these awarded points.
