SIS

It is important to register for the course in SIS where you can download the slides from the seminars, upload the draft of your thesis and receive feedback on it. You need to register for the course in the semester when you plan to have your defence.

Requirements (each of the points below has to be fulfilled in order to get a pass from the course)

  • November 17: Draft of the thesis. Upload the draft of your bachelor thesis on the course website in SIS – under the tab “Study group roaster / Studijni mezivysledky”, an icon with four blue figures. Get feedback from the course supervisors. On the first page, include a short progress report. Explain what you managed to do, which sections are in final stages, what is work in progress and what remains to be done. The progress report should be approximately half page long. The text needs to include at least 5 pages of the text (excluding any figures, tables or empty pages) which is very close to the final version. Include only the parts with the text you wrote, exclude empty pages from the template for the thesis.
  • January 7: Upload the final bachelor thesis in SIS.
  • If you want to participate at the mock defense presentation, you need to indicate so on the course website in SIS – under the tab “Study group roaster / Studijni mezivysledky” (by October 8). By doing so, you also commit to submit the Home assignement (submission is compulsory if you want to take part in the mock defense presentation, otherwise voluntary).
