Zabývá se metodikou organicko-syntetických procesů, které nalézají uplatnění při laboratorní přípravě, poloprovozní a průmyslové výrobě léčiv. Předmět poskytuje ucelený soubor znalostí, který umožňuje erudovanou spolupráci farmaceuta s chemiky. Je určen zájemcům o práci ve farmaceutickém výzkumu a výrobě léčiv. Praktická cvičení jsou zaměřena na vícestupňové syntézy vybraných léčiv.

This subject provides information about procedures and some apparatuses used in the drug production The lectures follow the subjects of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. Attention is paid to history nad development of the pharmaceutical industry, Good Manufacturing Practice, technical documents in pharmaceutical industry - quality control system. The students get acquainted with the theory and methodology of chemical processes which are important to general and special synthetic reaction in the syntheses of drugs. Practical classes deal with syntheses of representative types of drugs.
