Anotace - angličtina
The course introduces systemic perspective and family therapy in medicine. Systemic perspective is one of main theoretical underpinnings of bio-psycho-social model. Family therapy is one of important therapeutic approaches within integrated health care based on bio-psycho-social model. In the course, basic assumptions, systemic perspective, and main models of family therapy will be introduced. The new findings from interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theory, and trauma studies will be presented in order to emphasize the interconnections among brain, mind, body, and relationships. Students will learn the basics of medical family therapy, an approach applied in integrated care for patients with chronic disease and their families. The teaching will be based on combination of theory, interactive learning, and clinical examples.
