The state exam takes place according to the schedule of Faculty of Medicine. Regular dates are usually listed in February and June, alternative dates are usually in April, July/August, and in September, always at least 4 weeks from the previous date.
The commission consists of three members, state exam consists of an oral examination and a practical examination, which will take place at one of the internal departments. Please bring a white coat, slippers and a phonendoscope for the practical part of the exam.
The practical examination does not have to be repeated on the first alternative attempt, if the student obtained a grade 1 or 2 from the practical part and a maximum of 1 year has elapsed since the first attempt.
On the second alternative attempt, the practical part is always repeated, an external member of the commission appointed by the study department of the Faculty of Medicine is present.
