One semestr: Two hours per week English Level B2 Course enables the students to orientate themselves better in Anglophone literary texts of the 20th century, to interpret various layers of chosen extracts - „close reading“ CLOSE READING ANGLOPHONE LITERATURE This course will cover a range of twentieth-century prose written in English. Each week we will look at a brief passage from a literary work and read it closely, paying attention to style, theme and form. The aim is to deepen the linguistic knowledge of students, allowing them also to orient themselves in literary analysis.
