Open course on tendencies and traditions in Scandinavian cinema. The course will present significant movies,
series and directors; mainly from Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

We will discuss influences, cultural context and specific themes such as auteur, humour, nature and gender.
Students will be involved in discussions and presentations during the lectures, where movies/series are shown in
parts or entirety.

The course is taught in English and is shared by the Danish and Norwegian lecturers with possible involvement of
guest-speakers.
