Anotace

This seminar series will serve to give students a grounding in the philosophy of Vedanta. Working through the philosophy of the Vedas and the Upanishads, and arriving at Vedanta itself, students will engage with various philosophical schools of Vedanta (both ancient and contemporary). The seminars will be primarily discussion based: we will each week discuss and analyse different readings such as passages from the Vedas and Upanishads, excerpts from core Vedanta thinkers, and contemporary musings.
