Kurz je primárně určen pro studenty programu Erasmus a dalších výměnných programu za účelem širšího
seznámení s českými dějinami a jejich vzájemným přesahem se severskými dějinami, ale účastnit se jej mohou i
čeští studenti zajímající se o dějiny severní Evropy a jejich vliv na české dějiny.
Cílem kurzu je seznámit studenty se vzájemnými vztahy a kontakty mezi českými zeměmi a zeměmi severní Evropy.
V průběhu kurzu budou nastíněny vzájemné styky mezi Čechy a severskými národy od středověku až po 20. století,
jak na politické, tak především na kulturní úrovni. Sledován bude nejen charakter jednotlivých vzájemných kontaktů,
ale také jejich vývoj v průběhu doby, stejně jako potenciál stát se zdroji kulturního transferu nebo případné
inspirace při vlastním vývoji.

The course is primarily aimed at Erasmus and other exchange programme students, who will be introduced to
Czech history and its connections with Nordic history. Czech students interested in Nordic history and its influence
on the Czech lands are also warmly welcome.
The course aims to introduce students to the mutual relations and contacts between the Czech lands and the
Nordic countries. During the course, the mutual contacts between the Czech and Nordic nations from the Middle
Ages to the 20th century will be addressed, both politically and culturally. The focus will not only be on the nature of
these contacts, but also on how they evolved over time and their potential for cultural transfer or inspiration in their
own development.

Po absolvování kurzu by si studenti měli osvojit znalosti o nejvýznamnějších vzájemných kontaktech a interakcích mezi českými a severskými zeměmi a vlivu, jaký na sebe měly.

Podmínky zakončení předmětu

Úspěšné absolvování předmětu bude sestávat z následujících částí:

1 aktivní účast ve výuce (s povolenými dvěma absencemi).  

2. A3 poster k prezentaci (anglicky, QR kody v jazycích referujících)  

3. skupinová prezentace (12 min) na téma týkajícího se vybraného příkladu česko-severského kontaktu/inspirace/kulturního transferu (skupina: max 3 osoby)

Successful completion of the course will consist of the following: 

1. active participation in class (with two absences permitted) 

2. A3 poster for presentation (in English, QR codes in mother tongue) 

3. group presentation (12 minutes) on topic related to chosen example of Czech-Nordic contacts/inspirations/cultural transfer (groups maximally of 3 students)
