The course builds on the topic of language testing and assessment in the EFL context, first introduced in the course Teaching English as a Foreign Language II. Its aim is to familiarise students with the theoretical foundations of language assessment and the specific criteria for evaluating different language skills. The course connects theoretical concepts with practical application, so that future teachers can effectively plan and conduct assessment and provide quality feedback. Emphasis is also placed on the practical use of assessment data to support student progress and improve the quality of teaching.
